And in a cultural/political moment in which this country's main opposition has been embroiled - for at least a couple of years - in a thoroughly unpleasant ongoing row about anti-Semitism, and in which overt racism and anti-immigrant rabble-rousing have firmly entered the political mainstream, it's quite understandable to see Jewish artists raise concerns about representation. |
