That's an individual decision, I guess.
I gave up my membership about a decade ago. Given that I rarely had trouble getting tickets to any LCT show, usually at a reduced price, the perks (exchanges, presales, etc.) were not enough for me. But that's just me. I can see how membership can still be attractive to some.
The Great Society and The Sound Inside are both playing at large-ish Broadway houses. Even if every single LCT member bought tickets, there would still be seats available for every performance. And neither show is particularly starry. So it makes sense for them to use TDF as a way to increase the house sizes in early previews. |
