I saw it a few weeks ago. Jenna Russell acts it BEAUTIFULLY and in some ways is a more natural fit for the show than Kelli, notwithstanding the latter performer's vocals
Edward Baker-Duly (a Trevor Nunn fave) is OK but no Steven Pasquale- but then who would be? It's got a distractingly fussy and overcomplicated set and need desperate trimming but the score, as always, is quite gorgeous |
