I was there last night & not only was there no cell phone going off, there was a full-voiced usher walking up the aisle of the dress circle telling everyone to power their phones all the way off & mentioned the Times article.
There was a pause for us to say 'Scrubs' during the first act & I fell for it.
I wonder if there are ever any ad libs when Gyllenhaal goes into the orchestra. People down there laughed at something we in the dress circle couldn't hear. |
