Does the NY Phil use dynamic pricing and any seating advice?

I'm interested in seeing a NY Phil concert in a few weeks (in which Kelli O'Hara is performing) and there appear to be a good number of the higher priced tickets still available. Does the NY Phil use dynamic pricing, in which ticket prices go up or down depending upon demand? For instance, as a concert date gets closer and tickets remain unsold the prices go down. I wasn't sure if the Phil uses dynamic pricing. If they don't, and prices stay static no matter how well a performance is selling, I'll probably bite the bullet sooner than later and get the tickets.

I've never been to Geffen Hall. Any seats/sections to avoid because of sightlines or a poor audio experience?
