Any connection between the London EVITA and the upcoming City Center version?

I just came back from London, where I saw a pretty spectacular revival of EVITA at Regent's Park (comparable to the outdoor theater in NYC's Central Park--but the London one is smaller and has tons of food and drink options around it).

This EVITA, with its spare sets and edgy choreography, seemed very current, young, and modern. American Samantha Pauly, a fixture in Chicago theater, starred as Eva Peron and handled the music with ease.

Is there any connection between that version and what City Center will present this season? If so, RUN and get a ticket!

I wish it would transfer to Bway as is. It would be comparable to the pared down Sweeney Todd with Patti Lupone.
