Years ago, I did a production where, after the last performance we invited the audience to stay, and we did every killer. The audience reaction was really terrific.

We didn't do all the lovers, because that would have taken forever. And other than a couple of lines leading up to the song, they're all pretty much the same. The confessions are all pretty unique.

We did something similar when we did it at my college (in 1990!) but we didn't give the audience at the last performance a choice! After every confession Durdles came out an improvised another segue to the next murderer! When you're only doing 4-5 performances, it's a fun way to end.

That is fresking wonderful, and I wish I could have seen it.

But don't you find the incestous lovers at least a bit different from the others? 😄
