I saw Oklahoma via TDF last night & was given tickets at the table, behind Jud. The two women to our right were also TDF patrons. I wonder how many people are buying those full price table tickets at this point. The women picking up her tickets in front of me was also upgraded to the table on the other side.
A woman two rows behind us was very confused at the end. SPOILER: When Curly shoots Jud & he just stands there but Curly & Laurey are bloodied, she said (kind of loud) 'the gun backfired'. She didn't comment aloud when Jud walked a few feet to lie down dead, but it made me think of Dustin Hoffman's Michael Dorsey complaining about the blocking of his death scene during play rehearsals at the beginning of Tootsie.
Ali Hakim seemed to be making the most eye contact with those at the table; that actor appears to be having the most fun with the choreography as well. |
