Yes, Taylor filled in for Mickey Rooney in ''Sugar Babies'' on Broadway. He also did theater around the country in ''Anything Goes,'' ''Oliver!,'' ''Peter Pan'' and ''A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.'' And he wrote and performed his one-man show, ''It Ain't All Confetti.''

Taylor has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and once toured with Judy Garland, but he'll be best remembered for his 2,000 TV appearances.
