I'm not 100 percent certain, but I think a lot more than 20 minutes of music has been cut from the current Met production. Among the excisions: the entire Jazzbo Brown Blues scene at the beginning, the brief reprise of "A Woman is a Sometime Thing," the scene with Mr. Archdale as well as "The Buzzard Song," the children's chorus (almost always cut) and that whole section in the last scene when Porgy gives presents to his friends, plus lots and lots of smaller cuts throughout the opera. I honestly think it's closer to 40 minutes of cuts!
