Season's Greetings is a wonderful play and was beautifully served at the National a while ago by Marianne Elliott and a starry cast including Oliver Chris and Katherine Parkinson. Meanwhile you dodged a bullet with Bartholomew Fair, which is supposed to be awful. But it's odd that you seemed to reject the Irish transposition of Blood Wedding out of hand -- that sort of thing isn't remotely unusual in a climate in which Chekhov, say, is Anglicized constantly.
