While, yes, it isn't a barn like the Minskoff or Gershwin, it's just shy of that size for me. The width and depth are pretty extreme (whereas somewhere like the Palace is large but the design makes it feel more on a human scale).

All that said, the bigger reason is the operations. Seeing Angels there was the worst "guest" experience I've had at the theatre in ages – inefficient entry and bathroom lines, and surly staff throughout.
