Yes, I'm aware of the time frame of the song, the show and drug, hippie culture and censors on tv in the late 1960s, and the remarkableness of the song's lyrics mentioning illicit drugs by name. It might have been something the Smothers Brothers might have tried to get away with. I had been wondering if some time after that period if anyone had used the song in some manner, even though someone here characterized it as a "camp song", though a rather provocative one at that.
