I saw Gavin Creel perform the lead role in HONK! up at North Shore Music Theater ages ago, and knew he was bound for Broadway stardom. He was immensely likable, more so than any male leads I had seen in a very long time.
Fast forward to when he starred opposite Sutton Foster in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Considering how young Mr. Creel was, I remember wondering if he'd build a career on Broadway or head for TV and film. I think we're pretty lucky that he's stuck around the live theater.
