Exactly. I fear we are in great danger of someday no longer allowing plays or films or books that depict the racism of the past, and if that happens, we will eventually erase the history of such racism from the public consciousness.
I honestly wonder if even a film like 12 YEARS A SLAVE could be made today. It's not that old, but it seems that misguided, out-of-control social justice warriorism and over-sensitivity toward "triggers" has grown significantly even since then.
