What's worse than a phone ringing during a performance? A phone ringing in a Yondr pouch that someone forgot to turn off, and the person calling keeps calling and calling.
I imagine Yondr pouches would be quite polarizing to many people. It's one thing to have a quick bag search for security, but a Yondr pouch is quite different for security reasons. Who wants to run out of the theater in an emergency unable to contact loved ones? I don't think producers will risk alienating a large portion of ticketbuyers. Freestyle attracts a very different demographic and political crowd than many other Broadway shows (for example Aladdin or Frozen), so I don't think you can extrapolate based on that particular show.
