Back in the day when "second acting" was a thing, and many of us who lived in NYC and were a 3-stop subway ride from the theater district (missing those days) I did it, especially with the sadly failing musicals. I saw a certain show i won't name 8 times and second-acted it more often than I care to admit, sneaking up to the mezz where no one else was sitting. I feel no guilt, but a bit of self-consciousness (not the same thing). It's nothing to be ashamed of, loving something for either mysterious or identifiable reasons. And it doesn't hurt people, art, the culture, the nation, or the globe.
