I think it's a boring/predictable choice, and one where we already have a very good film adaptation. (I say boring/predictable only because it seems to come on the heels of a number of recent high profile productions, both on Broadway and regionally.)
I don't see Audrey as a vocally challenging role in the larger perspective (I mean, it's not Christine or Madame Rose or Evita, etc), but you do have to be able to sing well.
