I saw Libby Staiger and Jack deLon as Cleo and Herman in the 1959 City Center revival of the musical. Helen Scott, may really be Helena Scott, an opera singer who was probably playing Amy (Rosabella). Art Lund, of course, was the original and
iconic Joe, Tony's foreman, who dominated Act I. Inia Wiata may have been Tony. The 59 revival was staged as a copy of the original production. Paula Stewart played Amy in that production. |
