After posting below this morning, I pulled down my copy and re-read the Brian-Beverly-Mark arc. Such strong writing, every scene triggering memories of the original production. I'd like to see it again, since the last version at Circle -- despite interestingly diverse casting -- didn't catch fire.
Let's mix it up again. Regina King or Alfre Woodard as Beverly. |
