Interestingly, I went to Moulin Rouge over the weekend. It's completely spectacle over plot, which made the experience feel rather empty for me.
I enjoyed it while I was watching it (especially Olivo and Burstein) but then almost completely forgot it within seconds of leaving the theatre.
