I have no idea where Ms. Buckley traveled from.

I can't believe that anyone today had substantially more time to rehearse than Betty Buckley. Even if they did, practically none of them have performed their song as often as Betty Buckley has in the recent past. She has sung Hello, Dolly! hundreds of times. She looked like a complete oaf doing steps that anyone who's played Dolly can do in their sleep.I can't possibly expect that Tyne Daly would be letter perfect with Bosom Buddies, but has she played in Mame for over a year on tour, eight performances a week? Every single person did a better job than her today. The same male chorus that joined Ron Raines with Mame joined Buckley with Dolly.

I do know that Julie Andrews traveled from Los Angeles for the Loewe tribute. I don't know how rehearsal she had, but she managed to sing Say A Prayer For Me Tonight flawlessly, even though the last time she sang it in public with any regularity was 32 years before that and for a few weeks at best. Betty Buckley sat there in full view of the audience with her arms folded, slumped in her chair. I know that Richard Harris traveled from England to sing something from Camelot and then had the entire audience in gales of laughter with his story about ON A CLEAR DAY. Everyone except Betty Buckley, who sat there with her arms folded like a sullen teenager, slumped in her chair.
