In 1977, Catherine Burns also played the ingenue in the Berkshire Theatre Festival production of COME BACK LITTLE SHEBA, with Dana Andrews and Rosemary Murphy (a last-minute replacement for Estelle Parson). I worked at BTF at the time and was responsible for the casting of Dana Andrews (a family friend), who was spectacular as Doc.
I believe Burns was also a regular on the ABC soap, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, just before that.
