Things known: It won't be eligible for score or song as those categories have to written directly for the screen.

Things highly suspected: It won't be eligible for script as it needs to be adapted (e.g. changed in some way) for the screen. But this might get murky. It also will unlikely be eligible in the documentary categories unless is substantially documents the audience and/or experience of putting on the show (backstage, prep, house management, ect.) The Academy has not had a good category for concert / live films. It will be eligible for direction but not of the stage show, of the filming. Not eligible for costumes or set design. I also think that box office for the show may actually go down--it's not an adaptation like Phantom or Rent that made people long for the stage version, it will feel to many like they have had the stage experience. (One can argue the accuracy of that feeling, but nevertheless.)

Things guessed: It will be eligible for acting, cinematography, editing, and such. (There is some precedent as mentioned elsewhere.) I will bet it gets a special recognition of some type, especially if it becomes a cultural phenomenon as a film.
