| Have you considered asking her if she's interested? The length shouldn't be the issue. She'll either be bored or she won't. Tell her what it's about. Does she have any interest in American history, economics, family dynamics? If she is, good. If not, find something else. In fact, tell her what all her options are, give her a brief sense of what the stories/themes are, and let HER decide. |
