Yeah I guess. That seems to make the most sense. It would certainly explain why the Administration Committee doesn't feel a need to address anything.
I can say that when voters aren't invited, the press reps will tell them the show isn't inviting voters (if not as a general announcement, then once they're asked about it). So if Tony voters weren't invited to Freestyle Love Supreme or American Utopia, that would be a clear indication the Producers weren't submitting the shows for consideration. And then THAT would explain the lack of attention by the Admin Committee.
I haven't heard for sure that was the case here though, although with over 800 Tony voters, it can't be difficult to find out... |
