Granted, it can be hard to take songs out of the context of the show. And perhaps they play like gangbusters there.
But ... I was underwhelmed by this preview. If their aim is to entice ticketbuyers, were these the best songs to promote ''Mrs. Doubtfire''?
Did they consider having Rob McClure make a surprise appearance as Eugenia? (The cast of ''Six'' appeared at BroadwayCon in costume.)
How will THIS musical about an actor who disguises herself as a woman different from the last one (''Tootsie'')? I guess time'll tell. |
