Never having heard this before I went online and found the following: A Vox obit for Douglas which referred to the rape rumor as having been started by an anonymous blogger in 2012, and an LA Times interview with Wood's daughter about a documentary she's made about her mother. The daughter believes her stepfather is an innocent man and makes no reference to this Douglas rape rumor. I'll take her word over the gossip that's been posted here....and I didn't post any of it.
No one mourns the gossips.
