| The initial numbers are less useful because they refer to a snapshot in time. I double-checked final grosses for several shows in the charts that opened after 1997 & have since closed & they are identical to the Broadway League's. For some of the musicals still running, the numbers appear to be two weeks behind, which is why I described them as more-or-less up-to-date. (And for a show that's grossed more than $1 billion, that's arguably negligible.) If anyone finds a specific mistake after starting the timeline, please feel free to point it out and I will pass that along to the chart's creator. |
