Sorry about that -- must have been a Freudian slip -- Bea and Alfred, of course. I agree that the songs for Bea were excellent and Loudon does a great job with them. However, too much of the score is for Marlene and Nathan and that material is not very good, although the choreography for the dancing accompanying them was apparently fantastic. The revised versions of the show supposedly put the focus back on Bea and Alfred's relationship and restore some of the songs from the TV version. The Broadway version was pretty much a disaster commercially -- it closed after only 116 performances.
