| Ann, that's a good point, of course, for setting it in Minnesota. But I just felt McPherson as the writer and director didn't ultimately give the show any of the specificity of that time and place. Maybe in the New York production with American actors this has become a less obvious problem though I believe the original costume and set design remains the same. |
