Thanks! There are two characters who are the band’s singers, one of whom is the reigning queen, but they have different character names and don’t have much of a story. They sing from time to time when the band is playing numbers for various dance contests. The songs are mostly forgettable and don’t really advance the plot. The queen gets to pick the next queen in the end.
