He's an ideal match for Audra.
I saw the Lois Nettleton Blanche when I was 22 (my first, other than the film), and believe Audra has some of the qualities that Nettleton brought: a statuesque presence and gravitas, a built-in predisposition to suggest resiliency. The role bends to accommodate actors of all physical sizes and emotional make-ups, and this sounds genuinely thrilling. |
