My friend won once but my experience is like yours & I've been shut out consistently for the past few weeks. I imagine it has to do with crazy high demand since the show is in its final performances. (I didn't even know about the rush until my friend won around the holidays so I've only been playing for a few weeks.) I imagine rush tickets were easier to get earlier in its run.
