I would think the ratio of Post readers who "got it" would be roughly similar to the ratio of NY Times readers who would have "got it." DC is a very Sondheim savvy town.

It's clever enough, but since Amy Klobuchar had a very good day a song about panic doesn't seem right. Being Alive would have been more apt!
