| It's .... a.......... concert. Full stop. With full-throated, VERY contemporary/Idol singers. Good news: it's 70 minutes, script/banter is humorous (70% of the time), light design is fairly remarkable. Bad news: fans are cuckoo bananas with adoration and screaming (headachy), there is zero plot, and songs are marginal (lyrics fare better). Cute to see all-female cast and band, all very game and all very talented. This will be your thing, or it won't. It's gonna have legs with teens, queens and middle-aged women. | |
