Honestly, I'm speechless. An exquisite production in every way. I keep trying to write intelligent sentences, but anything I can conjure feels banal next to the majesty of what I just witnessed. The production is immediate and vibrant, rooted in today yet in touch with its classic roots, beautifully sung and powerfully danced, and simply heartbreaking.
This is why I go to theater. |
