Even Billy Porter though... I'm not sure any of what we see of him now would have been without Pose. He won for Kinky Boots 7 years ago, and what we've seen is only really in the last two years.
Erivo only won 4 years ago, and already has been the star or a major role in 3 major movies, and has an Oscar nom for Best Actress, Best Song (and KILLED it on the Oscars singing it), and has two Golden Globes noms.
Though I dare say Billy may be even more known and recognizable now, from his red carpets alone, and his Emmy acceptance speech for Pose. |
