I have NO DESIRE to bring politics to this board. I basically read it to get an idea of what worth seeing or avoiding. The question that was posed was about removing a major doner's name to make the structure less offensive. Do the Koch's determine the repertoire? Does a portion of her ticket price go to the Republican Party?
I don't run to Geffen Hall because of a gay democrat's magnanimous donation. I'm a gay man and I'm just happy he did it. I find it a bit comical that the two halls are across from each other and that David's name for perpetuity is in lights.
I'm in a service business and my clientele is 98% Trump haters, and while I don't support him, I find it reprehensible that if I differed with their opinion, I would lose their patronage. So possibly all of the Never Trumpers could take a portion of their massive stock market gains over the last three years, create a fund, donate it to the Kock Theater and they can rename it. And while they're at it, PLEASE change the seats, they are very uncomfortable
