Not at all. I just got carried away. How much AWFUL MONEY BY BAD PEOPLE has gone through the coffers of the Met, Carnegie, MOMA? We just don't know it yet we enjoy those places. The opera took out a loan on the Chagall murals. Shall we name the theater after Chagall? The Koch Theater was ready to sell the Jasper Johns in the lobby. Call it the JJ Auditorium. Leona Helmsly was thought an awful woman by many; so don't go to New York Hospital. It can go on and on and on. Our government does not subsidize the arts so we should be grateful to anyone will to give generously so that these institutions that make New York what it is, continue to exist.
