Hmm. I saw this last Thursday and the audience really seemed to be enjoying the show. I thought it was meant to funny. I had a good time. I thought a line was slipped in that Van Helsing was from America, though I admit I wondered how she got there, and the actress was dressed as if she hailed from the American West.

You're right. The script references her as American, and one of Drac's wife-demons calls her an "American cow-girl."

I find myself not reading All That Chats New York Reviews... so... I'm not sure. But. Are they all like this? These seem really ill-informed about the shows and theater going in general.

Can you be more specific about which reviews you're referring to, and can you define in what respect you feel the writers are "ill-informed?"
