I saw this 2 weeks ago, since I love Laura Linney too(ever since I saw her in Holiday at Circle in the Square years ago) . But I can't say I was impressed by the play-she plays Lucy and her mother in yet another tale of childhood abuse. Linney is great as usual, but the whole piece is going to be on Audible anyway. There's no real play here-even the set is just those projections that are popping up all over this season-whatever happened to set design? So to conclude you don't need to see it-listen to her on Audible-it will probably be more satisfying.

Thanks, I will see it if I luck out on rush. If not. I won't pay 300 dollars for it.
Appreciate it.

Laura Linney is wonderful but the play is undramatic and unsatisfying. Not worth spending a lot on.

You can get the play narrated by Linney on Audible for less. i think it's good.

Amazon. It’s my first audio book, so it was free to get me hooked. $170 vs free. Hmmm. I guess my adrenaline won’t be activated since I’m going to listen to it alone.

I'm happy that these (I think they're all) one-person shows by Audible are being made available on that service. I also recommend the Harry Clarke (with Billy Crudup) audiobook.
