| I have a new-found respect for Ben Brantley. I assumed with Scott Rudin's ads filling the coffers of the New York Times' arts section every Sunday, they would be hesitant to give WSS anything but a rave. The fact that Brantley saw through the misguided vision of van Hove (whose work I usually admire) and the production's lack of focus and emotion gives me hope that objective criticism still exists. Bravo Ben. |
