| Besides, The Times allowed them to run those quotes about the play itself rather than ones about this production. So they are covered no matter what the consensus is, though from what I've seen it looks like Brantley is the outlier and most everyone else is very positive about the show. The one thing that tempts me is the singing and music production which everyone seems to agree is first rate. However I know I'd be so distanced by Van Hove's style that I will skip it. After three of his shows, I'm kind of done with him. Make way for the new! |
