| Any thoughts if one last show is going to sneak in to be Tony eligible? (Limited run of ‘halfway bitches’? ‘Almost Famous’?) Or will it be held to transfer a show like Beetlejuice to? |

| If a show were ready to move in, it would already have announced, as the INHERITANCE closing was not decided the day of the press release. A show wanting to come in pre Tonys would likely give $ to THE INHERITANCE to leave them room to come in. It takles 3-4 weeks (sadly) for a show to load out and another show to load in and have tech rehearsals. Then you need a couple of weeks of previews before the press comes in. Unless it was a no set two hander, No Broadway show could even begin performances before April 14 or 15 - and have to open by Apri l23. And have no time to do press or sell tickets. A death wish. |

| generally agree except that, if a show had been ready to move in, no money would have been required as the grosses have been abysmal enough that the Inheritance would have been shown the door. | |

| And who pays for those moves? Rudin certainly wouldn't pay for the TKAM move, so that means the BEETLEJUICE producers would be on the hook for TWO large moves. Not likely to happen. | |

| I think he has an interest in Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, which Riedel predicted would go to shubert. Which would make more sense. I doubt even shubert org would allow beetlejuice to more to prime house. | |

| That might be waiting for a theater and seems like a smallish show that could be put together quickly. | |

| No new Broadway show (especially a new musical) is put together "quickly". This one (Mr. Saturday Night) is still being written. The thought that it could start load-in next week is ludicrous. | |

| well, load in would be a month from now | |

| Since inheritance is at the theater for 3 more weeks. I didn’t know if mr sat night had a regional production already (la jolla maybe) that would require tweaking or if it hasn’t really had any production yet which is what i gather from your statement. |

| To open in April. I doubt any musical that wasn’t already in preproduction (already cast and rehearsals) could do that. So it would be a London or offbroadway regional transfer. I think cyrano closes in London this month. I wonder if that could transfer depending mostly on mcavory schedule. I suspect Barrymore is too small for a downsized Beetlejuice to work financially. |

| I would imagine McAvoy is committed to filming His Dark Materials, since (according to Ruth Wilson) his bits of season 2 haven't been shot yet. | |

| He’s probably booked for two years and doesn’t have a 3 month open for broadway. | |

| This is a looooong shot, but I know there was a bit of talk of a Seared transfer to during its run, likely to a smaller theater. I'd love to see that, perhaps with some bigger stars to get the necessary audience in – I found it to be the most entertaining play I've seen in ages. |

| I don’t think Seared could last very long on Broadway. I do think Grand Horizons with Jane Alexander and James Cromwell is funny enough to have run longer. I haven’t been to a play in a long time where the audience laughed from start to finish. | |
