To open in April. I doubt any musical that wasn’t already in preproduction (already cast and rehearsals) could do that. So it would be a London or offbroadway regional transfer.

I think cyrano closes in London this month. I wonder if that could transfer depending mostly on mcavory schedule.

I suspect Barrymore is too small for a downsized Beetlejuice to work financially.

I would imagine McAvoy is committed to filming His Dark Materials, since (according to Ruth Wilson) his bits of season 2 haven't been shot yet.

He’s probably booked for two years and doesn’t have a 3 month open for broadway.

This is a looooong shot, but I know there was a bit of talk of a Seared transfer to during its run, likely to a smaller theater.

I'd love to see that, perhaps with some bigger stars to get the necessary audience in – I found it to be the most entertaining play I've seen in ages.

I don’t think Seared could last very long on Broadway. I do think Grand Horizons with Jane Alexander and James Cromwell is funny enough to have run longer. I haven’t been to a play in a long time where the audience laughed from start to finish.
