| Now that it's definite The Inheritance won't be around in June, I find myself with an open Sunday. I've resisted HP & CC mainly because there were other things I wanted to see more, not to mention the monetary investment. However, it did win six Tonys and it's hard to find a bad review. I'm not a huge HP fan but do appreciate a good story, well told - the 5 hour length is more intriguing than off putting, so that's not a problem - in fact, I'm kind of a sucker for a nice, long play. Plus, I can get into some good special effects; I even enjoyed King Kong (except when it tried to be a musical). I just don't want to be bored because I'm not a fan. Have any non-fans of the whole HP world seen the show? What did you think? Worth it just for the stagecraft/story? Thanks. |
