Usually, I'm wary of World Premieres.
And the use of puppetry is not a big draw for me.
Also.... boxing? Not a fan.
But the mild weather made me antsy to get out of the house, so I headed into Boston for this Rolling World Premiere about family, and the various forms it can take.
Very happy I did.
Gorgeous piece of writing by playwright Hansol Jung.
Excellent direction by Summer Williams (one of my two favorite regional directors. Tony Estrella of The Gamm Theater in Warwick RI, the other).
Superb cast, perfect sound and sight-lines in the comfy Rabb Hall contributed to a highly rewarding theater experience.
Only three more performances this week. (I may return)
