| I had that Live Laugh Love thought as well. Especially since the show was only a year or two after Follies. I wondered if Herman and others had Garland in the back of their heads when they were thinking about the plot...I thought of it when I saw her take all the pills to keep up with the grueling schedule only to have the pills (and other stuff) really end her career (after a long trip to Europe to rebuild her career). It's probably just coincidence, but it's what came into my head. |
