he played three distinct characters -- Cervantes, Quixote, and Quijano. He also did something I usually hate, he padded the script a bit, but every added word actually made things clearer, esp. in the character transitions. Between La Mancha and his Six wives of Henry VIII, I wanted to see him live on stage a lot more. (His Australian La Cage performance is also great on the recording)
